Submitting Content to 7mm Heaven

What are we looking for?

7mm Heaven is looking for articles related to 7mm scale railway modelling. If you have a useful modelling tip, technique or idea that you would like to share with others we want to hear from you.

Articles can cover (but are not limited to) the following:

• Reviews of 7mm scale products,
• Hints and tips,
• Photographs of models and layouts (see our gallery page for submission guidelines),
• Exhibition reports specific to 7mm layouts and vendors,
• Model railway internet addresses of interest to 7mm modellers (see our links page for examples)

Legal stuff

We will not publish defamatory, derogatory or otherwise slanderous comment, opinion editorials or other types of unsubstantiated article.

All works remain the copyright of the author and the publisher accepts no responsibility for the view and/or opinions expressed by the author.

We reserve the right to edit for clarity and for space and to reject articles, photographs and drawings deemed inappropriate by the webmaster, publisher or our agents.

Submitting your articles

Written articles should be submitted via email.

• We prefer that you send your articles as plain text, (ASCII format),
• Pictures as attachments in *.jpg or *.jpeg formats, and
• Any drawings or diagrams as attachments in *.gif format.

A note on picture file sizes

Our web site is designed to be downloaded quickly, even over 14.4Kbps connections so please make pictures to be included inside the article small enough to be downloaded quickly (less than 20K in size)

Submitting URLs of articles and pictures

If you already have a web page which contains the article you'd like to send us, please send an email with the URL (web address) of the page. The same applies for pictures. If you already have your pictures on the web, just send us the URL of the picture and we'll provide the link.

One more note on submitting pictures

Please submit only model rail related images. Photographs of prototypes, unless they are part of an article related to modelling the prototype will not be published.
